Independent since 2025: my own products first, then client platforms for media, events and finance organisations, built with one other engineer.
Most of the client work is one publishing platform that we designed once and deployed for four publications.
- Five sites live in production, including Global Tourism Forum, Nation Africa, Türkiye Tourism News and WTFI Live
- Built role-based access control from scratch: roles, permissions and assignment
- Built a bulk-email engine: campaigns, subscriber lists, CSV import, per-recipient delivery tracking and unsubscribe handling
- Editorial CMS with categories, authors, related content, configurable hero slots and an activity audit log
- Ten domain modules over 42 migrations, Dockerized behind nginx, self-hosted

Owned the institute’s main Next.js frontend for two and a half years, through several redesigns.
- Page load times down 25% through rendering and asset work in React and Next.js
- Worked with designers from concept to production; new users grew by more than 50% over that period
- After the staff role ended, the institute hired me back as a freelancer to build their editorial platform
